Team Records Long Course Meters (LCM) Team Records *NEW * YMCA Short Course Yards (SCY) Team Records USA Short Course Yards (SCY) Team Records The Short Course Team  reflect the correct age group of the swimmer when the record was set.   In YMCA swimming rules, a swimmer's age is based on the age he or she is on December 1 of that year.  These records are based on YMCA rules for a swimmer’s age and are listed by class. In USA Swimming rules, a swimmer's age is based on the age he or she is on the first day of that particular meet.   These records are based on age by the US rules.   In order for a relay team to qualify for a team record, all swimmers in the relay must fall within the age category of the event. For example if 4 swimmers swim a 12 & under relay and 1 swimmer is 10 while the other 3 swimmers are 11 then there is no valid 9-10 or 11-12 record. In order for a time to qualify, swimmers must be entered in the event as part of the HAY team with a HAY coach on deck.
