The entries for the Team Specialty Meet at the Mass. Maritime Academy on May 16, 17 & 18, and the entries for the May Classic Meet at Keefe Tech on May 24 & 25, are now posted on the Meet Entries page.  These are both US meets.

YMCA Reach Out For Youth (ROFY) Campaign

The ROFY Campaign is in its final weeks.  If you have not already donated, please consider doing so.  Thanks to the generosity of YMCA members and friends, the Hockomock Area YMCA is available to everyone in the community regardless of their ability to pay.  This is made possible by the funds raised through the ROFY Campaign.  Each year the swim team supports this effort by promoting donations for this very beneficial campaign.  Please see a letter from Chuck regarding this important fundraiser on the Team Events page.  There is also a link for more information about ROFY as well as a link for the pledge form.

The regular Long Course practice schedule is on the Practice Schedules page and will begin on April 28 through June 20.  After June 20, the schedule could change slightly due to scheduling changes at the Y once summer vacation begins. 

The US and YMCA Long Course meet schedule is posted on the Meet Schedule page.  You must be a USA registered swimmer to attend the US meets, but all swimmers on the team are encouraged to attend the YMCA meets.

New Team Records Set at Sun Kissed Championships!

Congratulations to our new team record holders!

Neel Sekar set a new US and YMCA team record for the Boys 9-10 50 Back with a time of 33.33  beating the old time of 35.11 set on 2/27/03!

Neel Sekar set a new US team record for the Boys 9-10 100 Back with a time of 1:13.95  beating the old time of 1:14.14 set on 4/10/03!

Grant Casey set a new US team record for the Boys 11-12 500 Free with a time of 5:39.03 beating the old time of 5:58.68 set on 4/1/04!

Paul Hopkins, Matt Souza, Carl Roycroft, and Jackson Gilkey set a new US team record for the Boys 15-18 200 Free Relay with a time of 1:37.32 beating the old time of 1:40.43 set on 4/1/04!
